The Belarusian Premier League is the top division of professional football in Belarus. There are currently 16 teams in the Premier League competition (2006).
At the end of the season two teams get relegated in Belarusian First League and get replaced with two top First League teams. It is organized by Belarusian Football Federation. FC Slavia Mozyr had been relegated to the Belarusian First Division finishing 14th in 2005 season. Financial troubles further led the team into complete reorganization this year.
